Teamsters from across the country attended a Teamster Leadership Academy Seminar hosted by Local 986 on December 3-4 2013. The program for officers and business representatives explored new and effective ways to communicate with members through social media, websites, newsletters and local media. The TLA provided beneficial and proven tactics that will be used to inform and invigorate members to fight the passage of anti-union legislation and other attempts to attack working families.
