On May 1, 2012, Teamsters Local 381 merged into Local 986 to increase the membership of Local 986 to over 15,000. Local 986 will continue to maintain an office and staff in Santa Maria to better serve the members throughout the Central Coast of California. We want to welcome our new staff members Lynn Swenson Coordinator/ Business Representative and Business Representatives Dave Latimer and Jorge "JJ" Garcilazo, while Susan Carlson and Debra Cano will continue to assist members at the office.
