NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE-Jul 30, 2010 The committee met with the company at the Embassy Suites, Portland Oregon to resume negotiations. We continued discussions on Articles 6, and 10. And have reached a TA on both Articles. The company’s plan to reduce the work force due to the reduction in aircraft and out sourcing the C Check was also discussed. The IBT has been communicating with the company to ensure any outsourcing or RIF will not violate our current contract. We will meet the week of Aug 9th to continue negotiations. We ask that any questions you may have about the reduction in force and C Check out sourcing be directed to the negotiation committee. Next meeting: Aug 9th thru the 13th.
